This blog is dedicated to thought, comment and analysis that has as its common thread a desire to cut through the simplifications of politicians and others who believe that only simplicity sells in the marketplace of ideas. The key features are an acceptance of complexity, dissent, and the lack of easy answers or solutions.
The site is a project of Gavin Bailey, a PhD student and freelance researcher working on issues of community, politics, multiculturalism and young people.
